3 Key Ingredients to Joy

We need not forget these three core ingredients to a life well lived.

1. Don’t take ourselves too seriously.

2. Laughter really IS medicine, both preventative and as great treatment. Trust me, I’ve done college research on it. And that makes me more qualified (haha).

3. We need to have fun.

Without enjoyment, life has no purpose.

Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured.

  1. You’re absolutely right, Daphne. About all of it. But especially about the research part. My master’s thesis, published in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy, was called “The Therapeutic Use of Humor in Occupational Therapy”–and I found probably 100 ways altogether that it was used by all the OTs in my study.

    1. Wow. That’s so cool! You have so many surprises jampacked in you. Thank you for sharing!!!
It’s amazing to me how much we need laughter as a species. We get too depressed and we die. Literally making ourselves sick.
      Thank you. *hugs*
